But this didn't work and i still had the same error when going back to my other account which is an admin by the way. So just to see if it would work i basically made the folder and its files open to anyone and everyone. Well since that worked and seeing its an access violation I'm thinking its a rights issue (why doesn't starting with admin rights not work?) so i started digging into the directory structure of 20 and then i came across something with the Settings\Essential Sound folder.

Oh and even tried it on different versions of windows 10 pro. Created a new user on my computer & logged in locally with it and bam PP 13.0.1 started right up!ĩ. Oh started it up with admin rights and elevated rightsĨ. spent 100K in time hours reading everyone's many issues with Premier wondering why I haven't moved on (maybe because when it works its the best)ħ. of courses did the cold reboot\unisntalled quicktime 7.Ħ.

DDU removed my NVIDIA drivers (1080 ti) and installed the latest greatest as well as installed some older solid builds.ģ. Keep in mind before this i also tried the following:ġ. After looking at the crash report I noticed in all 134 crashes and attempts and submissions to Adobe in the last 3 weeks it all ended on the same stack: "symbolname="essentialsound" Basically, the screen just shows the last successful loaded plug-in so it was crashing on whatever was after that plug-in. After uninstalling them all i still had the same issue. Then crashes with the EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" exceptionCode="0xc0000005" error.

There is a workaround but that's creating a new user and even with that work around it still crashes just takes longerīuild 13.0.1 On startup it loads and hangs on QuickTime or another plug-in. Okay, I've spent a lot of time (too much) on this and although I've come across a million 2019 & 2018 crash issues I thought I would share mine since none of the other solutions work that is acceptable in my situation.

Windows 10 version: 1803 (latest update installed ) I will report back if that helps with crashing. Right now I'm trying to turn off the GPU in Premiere and use software rendering only. I'm not writing this all to complain, I'm just hoping that it can help be a piece in the puzzle, because others are obviously having the same issues. It literally crashed every other minute as I struggled to finish my last project. It is extremely frustrating though that I'm paying a monthly fee to edit with software that crashes constantly. My GPU is on the supported list and my machine is more than up to spec, so I'm not sure what the deal is. The crash is always when one of the Adobe apps is open. I thought for awhile that my GPU was going bad or that it was a hardware issue, but I run other GPU intensive apps all day (Unity Game Engine and Blender) without a hiccup. I've even gotten several Blue Screens of Death with Graphics related warnings. Sometimes the crash is just a quick flickering of the screen and then the app closes. Running any app that uses the GPU while running Premiere (for example Blender).opening Premiere 2018 projects that were converted to 2019.It's very finicky though, and I can never land on one solution that keeps the crashing from stopping completely. It also seems to get better if I disconnect the internet. The problem is likely a graphics card related issue. Everything was smooth as butter until I updated to 2019 and now it seems I can't go back without the problem persisting.

It's bizarre that I still see issues even when going back to Premiere 2018. Right now the most stable I can get with the Adobe apps (I use Premiere and Photoshop most) is with the latest versions 2019 and all my graphics hardware updated.

Full uninstall of Nvidia GPU and clean installation of latest driver.Full wipe of Adobe apps using their cleaner tool and re-installation.Completely removing all Adobe Cache files. The crashing started when I "upgraded" to 2019 apps.

I've tried everything but the problem continues.
